Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 25, 2026
Thyme is built around one promise: your data stays on your device.
What we store
Everything you log — symptoms, medications, lab results, daily notes, food logs — is written to a private database on your iPhone. None of it is sent to Thyme, to any cloud service, or to any third party.
What we collect
Nothing. There are no accounts, no logins, no cloud sync, no analytics SDKs, and no telemetry that transmits your health data. Thyme does not have servers that hold your records.
Exports and sharing
When you generate a doctor visit summary or a JSON backup, the file is created on your device. The iOS share sheet then sends it wherever you choose (Messages, Mail, AirDrop, Files, another app). We never see what you share or where it goes.
Notifications
If you enable medication or bloodwork reminders, Thyme schedules local notifications on your device. The notification text is generic ("Time to log this dose.") and does not include personal data.
Subscriptions
If you subscribe to Thyme Premium, the in-app purchase is processed by Apple and recorded by RevenueCat for billing purposes. RevenueCat receives subscription events (start, renew, cancel) and a randomly generated user identifier — never your health data, name, or email. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for details on what they handle.
Crash reports
Apple may collect anonymous crash reports if you have shared analytics with Apple in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements. Those reports are handled by Apple, not by us, and do not include the contents of your logs.
Deleting your data
To delete everything Thyme has stored, uninstall the app. There is no remote copy.
Children
Thyme is not intended for use by children under 13.
